Hinged Floor Access Panels
Floor doors can be supplied with a hinged or detachable floor door cover. Generally, the floor door cover is finished flush with the surface of the floor.
Floor access doors are generally made from aluminium but can also be supplied in steel or stainless steel. Gorter floor hatches are available in a checker plate finish, or with a recess for inlay with concrete, tiles, carpet, wood or any other flooring material to match the floor surface.
Gorter fire rated floor hatches are supplied with an integral anchor flange or welded adjustable anchors depending on size. All floor door models are suitable for indoor and outdoor application and can be sealed or unsealed.
The drainage frame of the floor door can be supplied with a 40 mm drain for connection to stormwater flow. Depending on the application and size, hinged flush floor doors can be combined with a fixed vertical ladder, ladders or fixed stairs. In some cases retractable stairs can be installed.
