Plastic Systems provide PVC and CPVC piping systems that are used to transfer water and other liquids based on the requirement of the users. The pipes are widely used during construction of sites. The PVC and the CPVC pipes are the light weight pipes that come with various other features such as corrosive-resistance, tough and flexible.
The PVC pipes can withstand temperatures up to a maximum of 140 degree Celsius while the CPVC pipes can withstand a maximum temperature of 210 degree F. Made of maintenance-free thermoplastics, the materials help maintain water preservation as they do not easily leak or get affected by the soil conditions. Though the materials do not require paintings for the indoor applications, the white colour water based latex paint provides additional protection during the outdoor applications.
The PVC material comes with a tensile strength of 7200 PSI while the CPVC comes with the tensile strength of 8000 PSI at 73 degree F. The PVC comes with a compressive strength of 9,500 PSI while the CPVC comes with a compressive strength of 10,100 at 73 degree F. Both PVC and CPVC materials takes an average burning time of less than 5 seconds.
The solvent cemented connections in both PVC and CPVC piping systems keep the installation cost low and the lighter weight of the materials make the installation process simple.
